WHERE HAS THE BEAUTY GONE? PART I

It was always funny, everything taken just as it was said it is or is like. We couldn't think about what was said or even question; how would you question what is a very clear, interesting and factual truth. An instructor would come raise a question, teach its answer and we would all respond in loud choruses. A  sample of it  is like; 1.        Instructor: Who Created us? Learners: God Created us. 2.        Instructor: Who is God? Learners: God is a Pure Spirit, He is the Creator of heaven, earth, and everything in it. 3.        Instructor : Where is God? Learners: God is in heaven, on earth and everywhere, we do not see Him because He is Pure Spirit. That was how we were  introduced  to the immense wisdom and the foundation of faith and life in the catechism classes. If you ask me about my experience during the Catechumenate, I would boldly respond, "the experience wa...

CHRIST MUST EFFICACIOUSLY REIGN AGAIN

Dear Ambassadors of Christ, congratulations for responding to the Call of the Master in affirmative; “Here I Am, Send Me”.   Last year (2022) one of the most prominent news that attracted people’s attention worldwide was the death of the British monarch Elizabeth II. I believe even those innocent about monarchical leadership went on Television or online to follow her last rites. Personally, I was intrigued; what is it that caused this massive attention to the demise of a British monarch? Then, royalty ringed in my mind, I then asked myself; what really draws us and cause us to be excited too much about royalty? As I pondered this, I remembered my Catechesis lesson on Baptism – in Baptism one becomes a royal – sharing the Royalty of Christ. For nothing else convinced me than this about my attraction and why others maybe are attracted to royalty. I believe even the unbaptized and those who don't believe in Christian faith are attracted to royalty because they too conscious...

FIGHT ABORTION, PROTECT LIVES

Life is full of challenges; some of these challenges are brought about by one’s omission of what one ought to do and others come as a result of unforeseeable causes.  One of our client, Joy (not real name) 18 years old  a senior five student got involved in an affair with a Boda-boda rider which resulted  into her pregnancy. Faced with the possibility of being expelled from school and chased from home by her parents, Joy is seeing abortion as the only way to avoid these consequences. She came to me for counsel and I see it beneficial to share the proceedings of the process. Many takes pregnancy of a school girl above the age of the one who can be called a minor as a result of an engagement in irresponsible sexual union   whose effect especially pregnancy and other consequences, such as the one Joy is envisioning can be foreseen; and that it is morally culpable though pardonable.  I told her that abortion which she is thinking of as a way to avoid her parental w...

THE PLEADING OF OUR HEARTS

Brother our country and the whole world is in need of your prayers now more than ever before.  This is the plea from one of our followers. After acknowledging the rejection of the Kingship of Christ as the chief cause of aniexieties among many of our people today, she called for prayers as the duty and Sacrifice that everyone interested in excavating humanity from the deepest pit she has buried herself into must lovingly and voluntarily embrace. Just today, two people have lost their lives as a result of gun-crime again. Gun-crime has spread almost in all Ugandan cities these days. This adds to various evils that the country is facing. An interested inquirer would ask; what's behind all these? How can we redeem ourselves from this pit? It seems that with the rejection of Christ, humans have nothing to fetch other-than desperation with it's chief servants; Anger, sense of loneliness despite living among a crowd of people, iddleness despite having chuncks of responsibilities insc...
