THE PLEADING OF OUR HEARTS
Brother our country and the whole world is in need of your prayers now more than ever before. This is the plea from one of our followers. After acknowledging the rejection of the Kingship of Christ as the chief cause of aniexieties among many of our people today, she called for prayers as the duty and Sacrifice that everyone interested in excavating humanity from the deepest pit she has buried herself into must lovingly and voluntarily embrace.
Just today, two people have lost their lives as a result of gun-crime again. Gun-crime has spread almost in all Ugandan cities these days. This adds to various evils that the country is facing. An interested inquirer would ask; what's behind all these? How can we redeem ourselves from this pit?
It seems that with the rejection of Christ, humans have nothing to fetch other-than desperation with it's chief servants; Anger, sense of loneliness despite living among a crowd of people, iddleness despite having chuncks of responsibilities inscribed in someone's job description, weariness despite having all that humans can call recreational sites and tools of overcoming depression, and definitely loss of sense in seeing and respecting the Sacred in the other person.
For no evil is impossible to someone who have all the day or week or even the whole year doing nothing productive that could contribute to one's welfare, so is it for the one who feel she or he has no one to share her or his joy and sorrows with; the same applies to the one who see nothing worthy of resting her or his hope in.
All these makes it very easy for one to pull a trigger at someone, destroy someone else's property and fortunes, commit suicide, destroy the environment, offer their bodies in prostitution, take what's meant for the poor as their own among others. Anarchy is the only child born of such situation.
I see, it's time we start seeing the other as belonging to ourselves for our own benefit and that of the human race. In seeing that by calling another stupid, I am damaging my own reputation and setting the other at rage, I would save myself from being harmed by the other while making the other feel loved; in engaging those entrusted to me and accompanying, appreciating and being close to them, I would save myself and them from iddleness, loneliness and weariness; and by putting my life charitably at the service of the other, I would give to humanity what it needs most - Love.
With prayers and our dedication to not only see, but meet, or help others to meet their temporal and deepest needs; calm, love, happiness and peace would shoot-up in our lives. For these I view as the deepest pleadings of every human heart.
What's behind all these anarchies that have made it impossible for many to meet the pleadings of a human heart today? I would love to see your take in the comments section of this below.
God bless you.
